Zha Finals at Speedo Western Canadian Championships

It was a solid weekend of swimming for Delta Sungod swimmer, Max Zha.  He attended the Western Canadian Championships in breezy Winnipeg this past weekend.  Setting a new club record in the 1500 free as well as a new personal best time by 20 seconds, the meet provided some great racing opportunities.  

Zha was 8th in the 200 fly, 11th in the 800 and 1500 freestyle, and 14th in the 100 fly.

The rest of the club was grateful for the week off of training and is ready to get back into the pool and work towards Olympic Trials in Montreal, and BC Provincial Championships in July.
