Pass Meet April 29, 2023 results

Eleven swimmers from the Novice and Learn to compete groups raced on April 29th at Watermania pool at the 4th pass meet of the season. The group of 11 raced 100 or 200 IM, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 100 or 200 free. 

Swimmers are entered into two different categories depending on their times once they are ready to attend pass meets. Anyone new to racing who does not yet have a time at a meet starts in level 1 racing the 100 IM, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 100 free. Once swimmers have achieved both a time of 2:10 or faster in the 100 IM and 1:50 or faster in the 100 free they move into level 2. In level 2 swimmers swim the 200 Im, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 200 free and once they have achieved the 200 IM in 4:00 or less they graduate onto LMR meets. Throughout the season Pass meets also rotate through the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle at alternating meets. 

This morning we saw huge improvement in times since attending the last pass meet. Congratulations to the following swimmers for 100% personal bests Aryan Dhanji, Andrea Liu, Dwitik Sharma, Gino Wenxuan Tang, Theo wong.

Saturday morning we had one new LMR qualifier. Congratulations to Dwitik Sharma on your 200 IM achievement and graduating to LMR meets.
