Off to a fast start at pass meet #1 of the season

Team Sungod swimmers showed up ready to race at Pass Meet #1 on October 15th at Watermania Pool. The group of 18 swimmers raced 4 events in 2 hours with huge success. Here's a little background on how pass meets work.

Swimmers are entered into two different categories depending on their times once they are ready to attend pass meets. Anyone new to racing who does not yet have a time at a meet starts in level 1 racing the 100 IM, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 100 free. Once swimmers have achieved both a time of 2:10 or faster in the 100 IM and 1:50 or faster in the 100 free they move into level 2. In level 2 swimmers swim the 200 Im, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke and 200 free and once they have achieved the 200 IM in 4:00 or less they graduate onto LMR meets. Throughout the season Pass meets also rotate through the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle at alternating meets. 

The morning saw many personal best times and included 3 new LMR qualifiers. Congratulations to Ariyana Dhesi, Joshua Dhesi and Isaac Williston on your 200 IM achievement and graduating to LMR meets.
