Meredith Jensen Shines at North American Aboriginal Games

Delta Sungod swimmer Chloe Meredith Jensen (17) was selected to compete at this year’s North American Indigenous Games in Halifax, Darthmouth and Millbrook First Nation, Nova Scotia.   The games gather over 750 Indigenous Nations from around the continent in a multiple of sports.  

This year’s games are the 10th official NAIG, and a 50 year continuation of the tradition to hold games for the world’s Indigenous Peoples.  The sixteen sports represented at the games showcase some of Canada’s top talent.  

Congratulations to Chloe on her results.  Silver in the 50 backstroke, bronze in the 100 backstroke, 4th 100 and 200 breaststroke, 6th in the 200 IM and Team BC won golds in the 4x100 Freestyle Relay, 4x50 Freestyle Relay and 4x50 Medley Relay.
