February 1, 2024

Congratulations to everyone on a successful first month of 2024. SKSC winterfest, SKSC long course meet, Mini meet #3, Pass meet #3. It's been busy as usual!

The coaches are excited to announce.....

Swimmer of the month for January

Learn to compete: Jayden Zhang

Jaydens consistency and focus this month in practice really showed during his racing at mini meet #3. We were so impressed with your racing and technique during the meet! Great work, Jayden!

Novice: Ella Nichols

Ella had an incredible Pass meet on the last weekend in January. She was able to crush all her best times, and not only by small margins!

Regional: Naira Puri

Naira is the perfect example of someone who is dedicated to her improvement. She didn’t miss a single practice in January and no matter what she was ready to work. Her improvements over the last while have been amazing to see!

Junior Blue & White: Gulu Hsieh

Swimmer of the Month for January in the Junior groups goes to an athlete who has made some significant changes in the way he trains and his attitude towards training. His ability to swim longer distances has improved dramatically, and the number of successful swim sets has increased. Due to this hard work he achieved his LMR time and the coaching staff knows he is keen on getting to the next level of racing.

Congratulations to Gulu Hsieh in the Junior: White group. We are extremely happy with the way you’re swimming!

Senior White: Joshua Dhesi

This past month Josh has shown a great attitude towards practice and at meets. He has put in the work and stayed focused when it gets tough. His best times reflect his hard work. Congratulations Josh for your exceptional effort, great way to start off the year. Keep it up!

Senior Blue & Gold: Noelle Evans

For her noticeable effort during practices this month. Way to go, Noelle!
