The club also had 11 athletes who achieved 100% personal best times over the course of the weekend, with no disqualifications.  Great efforts and techniques were had by Aaron Alby (11), Abdulrhaman Alhassan, Dev Bagal (13), Mia Bruneau, Charlie Buchanan (9), Colbie Deeg (11), Caiden Fawcett, Ameera Johal, Gia Johal, Madelyn Paredes Troughton, Ganeev Purba, Tia Retel, Vidhi Sood (11).

DSSC coaches and swimmers always celebrate athletes who achieve 100% personal bests in a swim meet as it shows an ability to maintain mental focus over the course of the entire weekend, and shows consistency across all distances and strokes.

Swimmers are gearing up for their final meets of the season with swimmers attending LMR Champs East in Langley, Divisional Championships in Richmond, Provincial Championships at UBC and the club’s favourite travel meet of the season to Kamloops.   DSSC will be holding its 2022-23 season’s registration nights on September 5-6 from 5:00-7:00pm at Sungod Recreation Centre.  For more program information click on www.teamsungod.ca or call 604-345-5912.
