Richmond Rapids Virtual Meet
November 2020
From November 2-7th 16 TAG athletes competed in the first ever race simulation hosted by the Richmond Rapids Swim Club. Due to the restrictions and hardships many clubs within BC have faced due to COVID-19, this virtual race simulation was the best option for our athletes to still have the ability to race. While these times are unofficial, the accomplishments the athletes had over the course of this virtual meet, such as swimming faster then at the Winter 2020 Provincials, should still be celebrated to the fullest!
Out of the 64 swims, 37 of them resulted in a best time making it over 50% best times from the TAG athletes. The super star’s though from this virtual meet are Lucas Jamias (15) and Max Zha (13) who achieved 100% best times in their 50 fly, 400 free, 100 back and 100 breast.
